DexScreener verification vs a DEX rank
DexScreener verification marks a pair page. A DEX rank also resolves the coin and puts it on a public board. Exposure is the difference.
DexScreener verification is a paid mark on a pair page. A DEX rank also resolves the coin — then puts it on a public board that other people actually see. Same job family (identity). Different exposure.
What each one is
| DexScreener verification | DEX rank | |
|---|---|---|
| What you get | Enhanced Token Info / checkmark on the chart page | Resolved listing on the homepage leaderboard |
| Where it shows | That pair’s DexScreener page | dexranks.com, ranked by USD bid |
| What it proves | Metadata you paid to attach. Not safety | The CA, mint, or X profile resolved. Not safety |
| How #1 is decided | n/a — it is a page badge | Highest whole-dollar USD bid. Bid more than #1 to take it |
| Fee | Set by DexScreener. Confirm live on their marketplace | Whatever beats the current #1, in $1 steps |
How DEX Ranks verifies a coin
Before a claim lands, the site has to resolve the listing. That is the verification step:
- Robinhood CA (0x…): bytecode on chain 4663, or a DexScreener pair if one exists.
- Solana mint: DexScreener pair when indexed; the mint still lists if the pair is missing.
- X / Twitter rank: the @handle or x.com profile has to load.
After that, the bid is what people see. A resolved coin with no bid is not on the board. A DexScreener checkmark never appears here.
Trending is a third thing
DexScreener trending is activity — volume, txs, makers. You cannot buy that slot as a line item. “Guaranteed trending” is usually a volume desk. Read the pair on dexscreener.com yourself.
When to use which
- Need a candle and a pair page → DexScreener.
- Need a checkmark on that pair page → their Enhanced Token Info. Confirm the live fee.
- Need a public #1 other people can scan → claim a DEX rank and outbid #1.
